Grand to Grand Ultra – Ultra-Trail World Tour Future race report

Great week in the American desert!

The Grand to Grand Ultra stage race was in the Ultra-Trail World Tour schedule this year, as Future race. It means it has the potential to enter the Tour in the future.

For this first appearance on the UTWT calendar, Emilie Lecomte (France) and Elisabet Barnes (United Kingdom) were invited and supported by the Tour to participate to the race.

A great success: Emilie Lecomte won the women’s race, just 26 seconds behind the second man, in a total time of 32h 6m 48s. Better than the male winner last year!

Elisabet Barnes finished second!
