Competitors have a year packed with challenges as they traverse the landscapes of several continents. Here are the upcoming races:

• Vibram® Hong Kong 100: January 23

  The tour begins in Hong Kong, China with a 100km race that sets the stage for an intense competition year.

• Tarawera Ultramarathon: February 6

  Next, runners head to New Zealand to traverse through stunning forests and lakelands.

• Transgrancanaria HG: March 4-6

  In the Canary Islands of Spain, athletes will be tested with mountainous terrain and coastal paths.

• Eiger Ultra-Trail®: July 16-17

• Ultra-Trail® du Mont-Blanc®: August 26

  Perhaps the most iconic race, crossing France, Italy, and Switzerland around Mont Blanc.

• Ultra-Trail® Mt.Fuji®: September (Date TBA)

  Japan's majestic Mount Fuji serves as the setting for an autumn trail that is as culturally rich as it is physically demanding.

• La Diagonale des Fous: October 20-23

  The calendar concludes in Réunion Island, France, with a tropical end to the global tour.
