The unprecedented situation in which we are currently living is difficult and touches the world of trail running at its very heart. The 2020 Ultra-Trail® World Tour season has come to a halt. So while we wait for the season to start again, why not relive together every Thursday, the best moments of 2019?

Updated calendar of the 2020 UTWT circuit



We would like to inform you that due to the current situation of global health crisis, new races of the Ultra-Trail® World Tour 2020 circuit had to postpone or cancel their event this year. 


Gaoligong by UTMB®, originally scheduled for 21st – 23rd March, has been postponed to 18th – 20th December.


Patagonia Run, originally scheduled for 3rd – 4th April, has been postponed to 27th – 28th November.


100 Miles of Istria, originally scheduled for 17th April, has been postponed to 24th – 27th September.


Penyagolosa Trails HG, originally scheduled for 18th April, has been postponed to 16th – 18th October.


Ultra-Trail® Mount Fuji, originally scheduled for 24th – 26th April, has been cancelled.


Madeira Island Ultra Trail®, originally scheduled for the 25th April, has been cancelled.


Whalers’ Great Route Ultra-Trail®, originally scheduled for the 8th May, has been postponed to 30th October – 1st November.


Ultra-Trail® Australia, originally scheduled for the 16th May, has been postponed to 22nd – 25 October.


VVX Volvic-Volvanic Experience, originally scheduled for the 22nd May, has been cancelled.


mozart100®, originally scheduled for the 20th June, has been postponed until further notice, with the new dates still to be confirmed.


La Sportiva Lavaredo Ultra Trail, originally scheduled for the 26th June, has been cancelled.


Western State®100-Mile Endurance Run, originally scheduled for the 27th June, has been cancelled.


Val d’Aran by UTMB®, originally scheduled for the 3rd July, has been cancelled.


Eiger Ultra-Trail®, originally scheduled for the 19th July, has been cancelled.

The Ultra-Trail® World Tour team continues to offer its full support to the race organizers who have made these responsible decisions to postpone or cancel.


The Ultra-Trail® World Tour team equally wishes to express its support to all the athletes who were due to participate in the above races. We recognize the huge amount of hard work and training that goes into each race, and as such realise the direct impact these decisions will have upon each runner.
